Staying Cool this Summer

Yes, every color of that ice now holds permanent
residency on Lucas' white shirt

Two, too cool for school
We are too cool to need to lose the pacifiers. We
learned this from abba. Not the part about the pacifiers.

Yo, Bro!

I'm too sassy for my hat! :)

Edible.

Happy Father's Day!

To anyone called Dad or Abba or even GongGong, hope your offspring will be as uplifting to you some day as you are to them. Happy Father's Day!

Abba bench presses Lucas as Raia looks on and I, with iPad in hand,
completely ignore the entire world around me
And a few for the road:

Happy Abba's Day 1

Happy Abba's Day 2

Happy Abba's Day 3

Happy Abba's Day 4

Happy Abba's Day 5

Happy Abba's Day 6

Shabbat but not Shalom

In the following video you will see how our Saturdays begin, continue and end - with high energy and potential danger at all times. In fact, it is 10 p.m. and I am still awake creating a ruckus in my bedroom, sometimes even making a guest appearance in Lucas' crib. While he was asleep. But alas, this is a video from the morning:

And yet some people think Shabbat is about rest. No rest for the weary (parents), but babies are okay with a couple hours at a time. My parents think that Sunday through Thursday are much more relaxing. That is when they go back to full-time jobs and we bring our energy to our respective schools.

Have a good week everyone!

Beware: If you leave it unattended for
one second, I will swipe Raia's bottle

Raia is happy no matter what.
Except when she has to sleep.
Lucas is working on his selfie. He's getting there,
almost as good as me. Almost.

Two Months?! Like 10-day Old Milk

If you are wondering why I haven't blogged for about two months, perhaps you should look no further than our refrigerator where we found 10-day old milk.

In other words, Lucas (the only milk drinker) had been consuming outdated milk until someone caught a whiff of it. Oops. He's doing fine, in case you were worried - abs of steel. *

Does that explain things?

If not, maybe this will:
This is what happens in me and Lucas' room every night.
No, the bed is not meant to be in the middle of the room.
In other words, mommy and abba claim to be exhausted and weary, although we babies are obviously energetic and brimming with vim and vigor well into the evening hours. And all sorts of baby tricks that must be published.

Soon.

*Note: Abba protests revealing the milk incident for the world to know. Oops - too late!
